Welcome to the IUST High Performance Computing Lab homepage. HPC Lab was initially established in 1992 as a part of the Computer Engineering Department at Iran University of Science and Technology, by Dr. Mahmood Fathy. Our research focuses on image processing, computer vision and computer networks and their high speed and high performance applications. The main research interest in the lab includes Human Motion Analysis, Intelligent Transportation Systems, both vision-based issues and vehicular ad-hoc networks, surveillance systems, biometrics, video analysis, camera and sensor networks, 3D shape analysis, GPU-assisted high performance applications and many other related works. We aim to develop new theories and algorithms, as well as systems and applications.
